Welcome!

Welcome to the new blog. I make no guarantees whatsoever that this place will be updated all that often, but I do guarantee that all the content will be delicious. It will probably be uneven; lots of posts right after a trip, when energy is high, and then long droughts between posts.

The site will be used to post real-life reviews of gear, trail reports, and the like. The perspective will be that of the less-than-hardcore hiker. I love getting out into the backcountry and spending time on the trail. I don't love pushing myself beyond human endurance and racking up miles. I'd far rather take my time and enjoy the views and even take some naps.
